Border Collie Rescue - Where to see Sheepdog Demonstrations

The following is a list of working sheepdog demonstrations open to the public. jumpingsheep.gif (16282 bytes)

David Kennards  - holds Sheepdog demonstrations in North Devon in the months of July, August and the first weeks of September. These are held on Thursdays at 6pm and include the running of young dogs and dogs trained for trials and farm work. There is also a demonstration of Falconry. The demonstrations last a total of 90 minutes.

Mark Wylie and the Loch Lomond Ducks
Mark is a sheep farmer and successful trialist living and working on the western shores of Loch Lomond in Argyll, Scotland.
As well as running 500 + ewes in his fields and on the fells, Mark also gives informative and entertaining working sheepdog demonstrations with his flock of Indian Runner ducks. He holds these demonstrations (weather permitting), Sundays to Fridays at 2pm between the months of June and September in the village of Luss which is located on the A82. By prior arrangement, Mark can organise demonstrations of  sheep herding for parties and groups.
