We also have a regular fundraising stall every Sunday at York Auction Centre, Murton, York, between 8am and 12 noon.
Twice a month, throughout the year, we have a fundraising stall in the charities section of Parliament Street, York - right in the centre of town, just outside the main entrance of Marks and Spencer.
If you wish to visit us at one of these stalls and you are not local, we would suggest you phoned us first to confirm we are attending. Weather, Illness or just a shortage of volunteers may occasionally lead to cancellation.

How to find us -
Stamford Bridge Village Hall - Low Catton Road, Stamford Bridge, York, Y041 1DY
From the York Bypass, A64 section, take the A166 towards Bridlington and follow to Stamford Bridge. Go over bridge and though the square, past the shops, turning right into Church Road. Follow Church Road as it bears right and continue past Viking Road, Church Lane and Stonewall Cottage Lane (all on the right). Low Catton Road is the next right after Stonewall Cottage lane. The village hall is on the right hand side, set back, about 300 yards down Low Catton Road. There is a large car park at the side and behind the hall.

Stamford Bridge Methodist Hall - Right in the centre of Stamford Bridge off the main square
From the York Bypass, A64 section, take the A166 towards Bridlington and follow to Stamford Bridge. Go over bridge and take the first right, (Viking Road) then immediately right again into the main car park. (Free parking). To get to the Methodist Hall, go to the car park entrance and straight across the road, past the Medical centre. The Methodist Hall is set back, next to the Medical Centre entrance on the right. We warn against parking in the square as it is small, busy and you are likely to get a ticket. The car park is free.

York Auction Centre and Sunday market at Murton.
From the York Bypass, A64 section, take the A166 towards Bridlington. York Auction Centre is a few hundred yards from the roundabout on the left and is accessed by taking the first left off the A166, signposted Murton and Yorkshire Museum of farming. Large car park. There is a 50p charge for car parking.

Parliament Street, York.
Good advice here - don't drive into York. The city is not designed for traffic. Car parking is expensive and there are no handy side roads where you can leave a car and not come back to find a ticket on it (unless you have a residents pass). Use a Park and Ride. There are many set just off the by-pass and well signed. The bus fare is cheap (and the car parking free and secure) if you use the bus. Buses are regular and all routes clearly indicated by colour coding. Just ask for the nearest stop to Parliament Street, but don't worry too much because once in the City walls, no place is more than 10 minutes walk from another!
Anyway, York is worth spending a bit of time in and the best way to see it and take it all in is on foot.
