| Many South American countries and Caribbean Islands have a National SPCA and other specific organisations set up to care for the Domestic or Pet animal population. There are also many organisations operating in South America and the Caribbean for the preservation of wild species. Some are based there - others abroad. These organisations often cover many countries. | Our list below is of organisations you can approach over issues relating to Domestic and Pet animals, although their operations often cover wider issues. If we have not been able to locate a domestic animal rescue in a South American country or on a Caribbean Island, the country or Island is not included in our list. This list is not definitive and we would welcome suggestions for additions. |
