Joan's ARC is a sanctuary in
Ireland, set in an isolated mountain location well away from any
roads, run by Joan Emin. Joan's ARC is a safe haven for cats and the
wild animals they rescue and return to the wild.
Their sanctuary is primarily concerned
with cats and wild animals. They have limited spaces for dogs and can
only take them on an emergency basis. Most of the dogs they take in
are collies.
Joan's ARC operates a strict no kill
policy, a healthy or healable animal stays alive if its continued
quality of life justifies it. Their rehoming policy involves a home
check and a rehoming contract. All animals that leave their care are
neutered, vaccinated and wormed.
If any other sanctuary is interested they
will happily trade cats, domestic or feral, if you can take a dog, or
dogs, off our hands.

Joan's
Arc has no website, but can be contacted by email or phone -
