| Debbie Berriman on the Border Collie | |

Debbie Berriman has been involved with dogs for a lifetime. She has owned and trained a variety of different breeds and has competed in working trials and obedience. More recently she trained and qualified a Border Collie as an Assistance Dog through “Dog Aid” She has handled and worked with over a hundred different dog breeds and many more crossbreeds and mongrels. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and of the Federation of Dog Trainers and Canine Behaviourists. She has many years “hands on” experience running
dog-training classes, specialising in dog-to-dog aggression. |
Debbie
now works as a pet behaviour counsellor mainly through veterinary referrals and also has
considerable experience with many other animals and domestic pets. Now a course writer and tutor with the Animal
Care College, she is also a regular columnist in Dogs Monthly. Debbie lives in North Yorkshire with her Border Collie, Frankie, Border Terrier, Bertie and Devon Rex cat, Merlin. She gives talks, lectures, one-to-one dog training, behavioural consultations and Instructor training." |
