It is quite simple - phone us on 0870 444 5838 (2pm to 5 pm weekdays) to enquire about staying and ask any questions you may have.

Because we are running a rescue centre - not a Hotel or Guest House - and we only have the two guest rooms, it is crucial for us to use these efficiently to generate income to support our work. We must set the following conditions relating to bookings.

We normally ask for a deposit with a booking - if so the following applies -

Working breaks/weekends and working weeks - Deposits on bookings

If we are able to accommodate you for the period you request we ask you to confirm your booking in writing enclosing a non refundable deposit of £5 per person for a working break/weekend and £10 per person for each working week.

Bed and Breakfast guests - Deposits on bookings

If we are able to accommodate you for the period you request we ask you to confirm your booking in writing enclosing a non refundable deposit of £5 per person per night of your proposed stay, up to a maximum of £10 per person if your booking exceeds 2 nights.

Please pay any deposit by cheque made out to Border Collie Rescue.

In all bookings the following conditions apply

Your room will be provisionally set aside for you at the time of the verbal telephone booking and held for 7 days. The booking will only be confirmed on our receipt of your letter and deposit.

If you fail to confirm in writing and pay the deposit within the 7 days, we reserve the right to re-allocate the room, in which case we will offer you alternative dates.

Should your deposit arrive after the 7 days and we have not re-allocated the room, the booking will be confirmed and the deposit banked.

If we have re-allocated the room, and if no alternative dates are suitable, we will not bank or keep the deposit, we will destroy the cheque.

 If we have re-allocated the room and an alternative date is agreed with you - the deposit will be banked against the new booking.

Please note, should you cancel at any point after paying the deposit, you do so in the understanding that the deposit is not refundable and the deposit amount will be kept as a donation to Border Collie Rescue.

Although we would not expect this to happen - If we cancel a confirmed booking (after your deposit has been paid and banked) we will return your deposit in full and offer you a free nights B&B at an agreed future date.

Placing of a request for a booking implies your acceptance of the conditions above.
